Location: Sunshine Coast & Gold Coast, QLD

Are you looking to take your administration career to the next level? We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to support our Contracts and Service Centre Managerial teams.

The Role

Working with our Contracts and Service Centre managerial teams, the Contracts Administrator supports the business to ensure that all paperwork relating to our job dockets is captured and our clients are invoiced accurately. This role will need to ensure that we are meeting contractual requirements, charging as per contract terms and conditions and have the ability to supply metrics and recommendations on a needs basis.  

What we need from this role: 

  • Review, prepare and progress contract payment claims and invoices for internal approval and processing
  • Review, assess and progress cost adjustments and variation claims.
  • Contribute to achieving contract management objectives by assisting with administering payment of progress claims, including following up with Contract Managers to ensure approvals are correctly and promptly obtained, cash flow forecasts are met, and disputed claims are managed
  • Applying required administrative processes and effectively monitoring contract performance against agreed terms, given the high volume of contracts being administered.
  • Update and maintain vendor database in a timely manner
  • Input and code invoices to cost centres
  • Assist Contract Managers/Project Managers with monitoring project financial positions by providing regular financial status reports and other relevant information
  • Team focus and can-do attitude

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business and/or Projects or equivalent work experience
  • Strong account payable and receivable knowledge
  • Exceptional time management and coordination skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Understanding of client quoting and billing principles
  • Experience working in a fast paced, high volume, and dynamic environment.
  • Experience working across multiple contract requirements simultaneously.
