Diesel Mechanic

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Ingleburn NSW and assist with the maintenance of our growing vehicle and equipment fleet.

The Role
We are excited to announce that we currently have a permanent position available to work from our Ingleburn branch for an individual who can show us they can live and breathe our values. We operate Monday to Friday but due to the nature of our requirements, you will sometimes need to be flexible with your availability to work weekends, evenings or emergency calls to deal with breakdown situations on a needs basis.
What we need from this role:
- Repair and maintain the Pipe Management Australia fleet of plant & equipment
- Manage and raise work orders to completion for all repair and maintenance tasks
- Track completion of work orders and maintain databases where required
- Raise purchase orders for external maintenance providers, parts and supplies
- Maintain compliance in the fleet
- Monitors the Receiving of incoming shipments, checking the purchase order against invoice with actual shipment for completeness and accuracy before placement in appropriate warehouse location
- Maintains an organised, clean and safe work & warehouse area
- Support in administrative process around fleet management
- Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements in accordance with company policies.
- All tools as supplied to perform your duties.
- Perform other duties as required to ensure upkeep of the Pipe Management Australia Fleet.
- Based out of our Ingleburn depot.
- HR/HC License desirable or willing to obtain.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a qualified mechanic
- Salary depending on experience
In addition to some or all of the above competencies, you will have:
- Basic Computer literacy
- First Aid Ticket (desired)
