Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Vac/Jetter Truck Operator to join our team based at the Maroochydore depot.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for operating vacuum loading and high-pressure water jetting trucks as part of our stormwater and drainage maintenance services. The role involves a mix of field-based operations, routine maintenance, and supporting our clients across civil, industrial, and environmental projects.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be committed to working safely and as part of a team.
• Have previous experience operating a Vac truck and/or jetter unit.
• Hold a current MR or HR licence (essential).
• Possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Be comfortable working in and around drainage systems, confined spaces, and construction environments.
• Hold (or be willing to obtain):
  • Confined Space Entry ticket
  • First Aid certificate
  • Construction White Card
• Be available for occasional overtime, weekend, or night works as required.

The Role

We are looking for experienced Vacuum Truck Operators for our Maroochydore branch to work as senior crew members on job sites and to help to develop our new employees into talented Operators for PMA. This is a fantastic opportunity for committed and team orientated people who have a genuine ‘can do’ attitude and experience in some form within the waste, storm water and/or civil construction industry.

What you need:

• White Card
• Confined Space Ticket
• MR or HR license
• Team focus and great customer service

Skills & Experience

• Experience and knowledge of Vacuum truck operations
• Experience and knowledge of Non-Destructive Digging principles
• Experience and knowledge of pipe rehabilitation methods including patching and jetting
• Previous experience working as a member of a crew or team
