Environmental sustainability in focus
PMA has carefully selected the material receival facilities that we partner with to ensure that we meet or exceed the compliance expectations of the relevant state environmental regulators (EPA) regarding the disposal of liquid wastes while also disposing of this spoil in a cost-effective manner and maximising re-use opportunities for the spoil we remove. PMA determines which facilities to transport loads to based on the appraisal of the material on board. We use facilities that are strategically located across our operational area to minimise travel time to/from the facility and also those that have processes in place to screen and separate our transported material for re-use where possible and reduce disposal to landfill.
