The PMA Difference

All PMA work is governed by an Integrated Management System (IMS), certified to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety). Our IMS incorporates industry accreditations and safety, quality and environmental standards that ensure we are best serving and supporting our industry, our people, and our clients.

Environmental sustainability in focus

PMA carefully selects the material receival facilities it partners with to ensure compliance with, and where possible exceed, the expectations of relevant state environmental regulators, including the NSW EPA, Victorian EPA and the Queensland Department of Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation. Facility selection is informed by the characterisation and classification of the material being transported, with loads directed to appropriately licensed receival sites based on the nature of the spoil or liquid waste. PMA prioritises facilities that are strategically located across its operating regions to minimise travel time, reduce transport impacts and support cost-effective disposal outcomes. Where practicable, PMA also seeks to use facilities with screening, separation and treatment processes that enable beneficial reuse of transported materials, thereby reducing reliance on landfill disposal and supporting improved environmental outcomes.
